Incentives
The 87th General Assembly enacted legislation to cultivate the motion picture industry by offering financial incentives to foster the development of the digital and traditional film industry in Arkansas.
The Digital Product and Motion Picture Industry Development Act of 2009 provides
- rebates of fifteen percent (15%) of qualified costs in connection with the production of a state-certified film project and
- an additional ten percent (10%) of the payroll of below-the-line employees who are full-time residents of Arkansas.
