Business Retention and Expansion
The Business Retention and Expansion Division (BR&E) focuses primarily on providing services that will result in the retention and expansion of existing businesses of all kinds across Arkansas, as well as the creation of new jobs. The purpose is to identify and meet the needs of our existing industry and business.
Our Area Representatives assist companies and local economic development interests located throughout Arkansas with marketing of the State's resources, problem-solving and referral services. Working in concert with the Area Representatives, BR&E's business assistance staff provides technical assistance to existing businesses. Assistance can be provided through surveys, laborshed studies, economic impact analysis and the like. Counseling, information and referral services are offered at no cost.
