CDBG Recovery
The State of Arkansas received $5,144,608 for the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-R) funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). As a requirement for receiving the funds, the State was required to submit a substantial amendment to its Action Plan for the program year 2008 to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) before June 29, 2009.
The State must also publish the proposed amendment, including a spreadsheet showing proposed projects, on its website for public review and comment.
