Arkansas featured in United Airlines magazine

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (August 12, 2015) – Travelers flying on United Airlines this month will have the opportunity to discover more about business and pleasure in Arkansas through the airline’s Hemispheres in-flight magazine. The 28-page “Dossier” supplement in Hemispheres’ August issue includes information about the state to pique the interests of business leaders and site selectors.

Hemispheres features a state or large metropolitan area each month through the “Dossier” supplement. When the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) was approached by United to participate, AEDC knew it would be a great way to let the world know about the benefits of doing business in Arkansas.

“Arkansas has a great story to tell and in order to be competitive on the world stage, we must find innovative ways to share our story globally,” said Governor Asa Hutchinson. “From participating in the Paris Air Show for the first time to highlighting Arkansas in United Airlines’ in-flight magazine, we are taking bold steps to market Arkansas. Every individual on domestic and international United Airlines’ flights this month will have the opportunity to learn why Arkansas is an ideal location for business and pleasure.”

The magazine will be on all of United’s flights for the month of August and will be on the United Hemispheres website for one year.

AEDC will also distribute copies of the magazine to prospective businesses. A link to the full supplement can be found on AEDC’s homepage at
