Arkansas Industrial Energy Efficiency Finance Forum
Tuesday, May 14, 2013 · 12:00 am
The Arkansas Energy Office will host an Industrial Energy Efficiency Finance Forum on June 28, 2013 at the Marriott Little Rock. At this must-attend event, industry professionals will gather to learn about the latest in Energy Efficiency (EE) financing available. The forum is free and will provide the opportunities to interact with and learn from finance experts and companies that have implemented significant EE projects.
The forum is designed for large commercial and industrial companies located in Arkansas that are interested in reducing operating costs by using improved energy efficiency methods. This interactive forum will provide a venue to exchange ideas and explore potential solutions to barriers to energy efficiency financing.
The Forum will be hosted by the Arkansas Energy Office - a division of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission - and the Arkansas Industrial Energy Clearinghouse. It is being held in conjunction with the National Governors Association's (NGA) Industrial Energy Efficiency and Combined Heat and Power Policy Academy, a project supported by the Office of Governor Mike Beebe and the Arkansas Public Service Commission.
About the Forum Speakers
Forum attendees will hear from key leaders in finance, industrial energy efficiency, state and national policy and academia.
These include Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe, who continues to be a strong advocate for the research, development, and implementation of products and projects that improve the efficient use of energy while saving money.
