Bentley Story makes top 50 economic developer list

Bentley Story, director of business development for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, was named one of the “2017 North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers” by Consultant Connect.

Bentley joined AEDC’s Business Development Division as a project manager in 2007. As a project manager, he was responsible for several sectors including telecommunications, sustainable agriculture, power electronics, data centers, and technical support centers. He was instrumental in bringing Hewlett-Packard to Conway and Dillard’s Internet Fulfillment Center to Maumelle. He was promoted to his current role as director of business development in June 2012.

A native of Forrest City, Arkansas, Bentley has a bachelor’s degree in finance and administration and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas.
