Thursday, May 4, 2017 · 4:09 pm
SpotRight Inc., an Arkansas-based consumer insights and audiences company headquartered in Little Rock, is gaining worldwide recognition for its accomplishments in the marketing technology industry. SpotRight’s patented software platform uses social media behavior and other consumer data sets to help large national and international brands find customers.
Recently, SpotRight has been included in CIO Review’s “Top 20 Most Promising Digital Marketing Solution Providers” for 2017 and is among the top 10 finalists in the world for I-Com’s Data Startup Challenge. CIO Review is a technology magazine focused on enterprise solutions. I-Com is a global forum focused on smart data marketing.
“We are honored to be selected for these awards! Our goal is to use SpotRight’s unique blend of data, data science, software, and deep experience to help brands and agencies connect with the right consumers for their campaigns, and to understand how to speak to them in a way that resonates,” said Todd Greer, SpotRight CEO.
“Arkansas has a rich entrepreneurial history and SpotRight is a great example of an innovative, growing Arkansas-based company that is having an impact on a global scale,” said Mike Preston, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC). “It is imperative that we support companies like SpotRight as they build on Arkansas’ emerging reputation as a technology hub. Congratulations to SpotRight on these well-deserved honors.”
The company’s web-based application, PersonaBuilder, provides clients with insights that can be used to understand what makes a group of people unique so that the clients can create targeted marketing strategies and campaigns. The insights draw from social connections, media consumption, lifestyle preferences, brand affinities, purchases, and demographics. The company’s clients include companies like Heifer International, Ogilvy & Mather, Acorn Influence and Algenist.
SpotRight has worked closely with the Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA) and AEDC as it has continued to grow. "ADFA is proud to have partnered with SpotRight,” said Aaron Burkes, ADFA’s president. “This recognition is well-deserved and highlights the strength of the talent in Arkansas’ technology sector.”
SpotRight was founded in Boulder, Colorado, as Giveo. The company merged with another Boulder-based start-up, Spot Influence, and changed its name to SpotRight in January 2011. Greer and team put together an investment group, acquired the assets of SpotRight, and moved its office to Little Rock in 2015.
