Mundo-Tech doubles its physical presence in Rogers, expands workforce
Mundo-Tech, a tube bending and fabrication supplier for aerospace, defense, and commercial companies, announced today that it is expanding its facility in Rogers, Arkansas, investing $800,000 and creating seven new technology jobs in Arkansas’ top export industry as well as constructing an additional building to house office and manufacturing space.
Mundo-Tech proudly serves as a first-tier supplier to numerous globally-recognized aerospace companies, Fortune 500 and space companies. From single-tube assemblies to long-term programs, Mundo-Tech provides world-class products out of its expanding facility.
“Our state’s aerospace and defense sector continues to thrive thanks in part to suppliers like Mundo-Tech,” said Arkansas Secretary of Commerce Mike Preston. “The strength and dedication of Arkansas’ workforce makes this expansion a natural, and it is gratifying to see small companies like Mundo-Tech continue to invest in our state and our communities.”
The expansion is a direct result of Mundo-Tech’s need to meet demand from major contractors. Mundo-Tech will construct a 12,000-square-feet building to include 3,000 square feet of office space and 9,000 square feet of production space, which will double the size of its current 12,000-square-foot facility. The company currently employs between 40 to 50 people, making the seven immediate hires significant to production.
