Sediver USA Grows in West Memphis, Arkansas, Plans to Create 40 New Jobs

 February 25, 2026

West Memphis Plant Surpasses 5 Million Units Manufactured

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (February 24, 2026) – Sediver USA announced today that the company is expanding its manufacturing plant in West Memphis, Arkansas in 2026 after surpassing 5 million units produced since the facility’s opening. The expansion will create 40 new local jobs.

The West Memphis manufacturing plant has produced 5 million insulator units since opening, reaching the milestone on December 16, 2025. This achievement reflects sustained demand from U.S. utilities and the plant’s commitment to safety and quality under ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications. All units produced at West Memphis are in service across the continental United States, with more than 100 U.S. customers qualified since start-up in 2017.

In 2025, Sediver implemented a series of strategic capital expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives to enhance its West Memphis assembly line. These efforts centered on process automation, equipment modernization, and PLC system upgrades, delivering significant improvements in production output, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. Looking ahead, 2026 will follow the same trajectory, as Sediver has already commenced the next phase of capital investments aimed at ensuring long-term scalability and sustained growth.

The facility launched with one shift in April 2017 and expanded to two shifts in September 2025 and currently employs 78 people. Additional employment opportunities are anticipated in the second half of 2026.

Building on Sediver’s August 2025 capacity expansion in West Memphis (designed to double output and create 25 new jobs), the company is planning a mid‑year expansion in 2026, moving towards third and fourth shift operations. This next step will strengthen Sediver’s local presence and create more than 40 new local job opportunities while deepening the company’s local footprint in Arkansas.

“Having been part of Sediver USA for the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of watching this plant grow from its earliest days into the high‑performance operation it is today. Reaching the 5‑million‑unit milestone is more than a production achievement — it’s a testament to the dedication of our team, the strength of our processes, and the pride we take in serving utilities across the country. I couldn’t be more excited to see this next phase of growth unfold and to continue building on the momentum we’ve created together,” said Richard Jayroe, Director of Operations, Sediver USA.

“Surpassing 5 million insulators manufactured in West Memphis is not just a production milestone — it is a declaration of Sediver’s long-term commitment to the United States and to the State of Arkansas. As Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has emphasized, Arkansas is open for business, focused on job creation, manufacturing growth, and strengthening America’s energy independence. Sediver is proud to be part of that mission. Every insulator produced in West Memphis supports the modernization and resilience of the U.S. power grid — enabling utilities to meet growing demand driven by electrification, industrial expansion, and data center development. We are continuously investing in automation, capacity expansion, and workforce development in Arkansas to ensure we deliver at scale, with quality, and with certainty. Sediver USA is here for the long term — manufacturing locally, hiring locally, and powering America’s energy future,” said Cleber Angelo, President of Sediver USA & Americas Region Head.

“Only a few months after their most recent expansion, Sediver is doubling down and saying that Arkansas is a great place to do business,” said Governor Sanders. “Their expansion will strengthen the national grid and create local jobs for Arkansas families, and by streamlining permitting and keeping our business climate competitive, we’re ensuring companies like Sediver can continue to invest with confidence. Arkansas isn’t just participating in the nation’s economic resurgence, we’re helping lead it.”

“Less than one year after announcing plans to expand, Sediver is announcing another expansion in West Memphis, Arkansas,” said Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. “Sediver has found success in West Memphis and is expanding their operations, which will create 40 new jobs. We congratulate Sediver on their success and thank them for their confidence to continue investing in West Memphis and Arkansas.”
