Mickey Yeager

Manager of Client Services

Mickey Yeager is Director of Client Services at Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions. He has over 35 years of manufacturing experience with extensive experience in quality management in various manufacturing environments and with continuous improvement initiatives. He was involved with manufacturing start-ups in Granada, South Africa and China and performed supplier quality/process audits in the US, Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, Indonesia and China. He has experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic manufacturing industries as well as various supplier operations (injection/blow molding, corrugation, printing, filling and assembly operations).

Prior to joining AMS, Mickey spent 24 yrs with Maybelline/L’Oreal in various Quality and Supply Chain management positions. While at Maybelline he implemented SPC in the filling area that resulted in $100+K/savings per year. Mickey was responsible for reorganizing several departments that resulting in labor savings and stream-lining operations. He was selected to develop and direct the Subcontract Manufacturing area that achieved record quality and service levels while being responsible for over 100 sku’s and purchases that averaged $2 million/month. He was involved with multiple product launches and implementing costs savings and process improvements that averaged over $250K/yr.

Prior to his long tenure in the cosmetic industry, Mickey was involved with Norwich-Eaton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (now a subsidiary of Proctor & Gamble), Texize (now a division of Dow Chemical) and Baxter/Travenol Laboratory (now Baxter International) where he served in various management positions.

Mickey also serves an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas teaching graduate courses as part of the Engineering Department’s Masters in Operations Management degree program. For over 20 years he has taught courses in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Organization and Control, Materials Management, Human Resources Management and Production & Inventory Control. Mr. Yeager holds a MS in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and a BS degree in Chemistry and Microbiology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is Certified Quality Engineer and Auditor by the American Society for Quality and is DISC Personal Styles certified. He also has certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Mfg, Project Management, Human Resource Management and Training Within Industry (TWI).
