Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions and the Arkansas District Export Council, will be sponsoring a free webinar focusing on Re-shoring/Near-shoring Strategies for today's Supply Challenges.
Topics to be covered include:
- How Reshoring a portion of your supply chain can reduce your supply chain risks significantly --How Nearshoring, thru the usage of the USMCA Treaty, can further reduce your Supply Chain Risks
- How usage of Reshoring and Nearshoring strategies can reduce long lead times and the need for large amounts of on-hand inventory
The speakers include:
Harry Moser, Founder of the Reshoring Initiative and former President of machine tool maker GF Machining Solutions for 22 years. He participated actively in President Obama’s 2012 Insourcing Forum at the White House. Harry is a Member of the Department of Commerce Investment Advisory Council and is regularly quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, NYT, and seen on national TV and radio programs.
Rudy Ortiz, Management Consultant, Strategic Business Services was appointed to the Arkansas District Export Council by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and is a former Chair of the ARDEC. He assists companies in a wide variety of business-related areas as well as their International Business/Exporting needs and training. He teaches various export-related classes for the ARDEC as well as the AEDC’s ExporTech training program. He is a Certified Global Business Professional as well as a U.S. Department of Commerce Certified Export and Trade Counselor and is fluent in Spanish.
