Arkansas has a network of twelve STEM Education centers that are located on university campuses around the state and serve as resources for K12 teachers for professional development, curriculum, and equipment.
CASE will work with
the STEM center directors and K12 science curriculum specialists from the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) to design curriculum resource kits specific to each research thrust in the project.
After the pilot kits are constructed,
professional development workshops will be designed by the STEM center directors and master teachers, and will be offered throughout the year around the state.
Stay tuned for more information about the curriculum kits in late 2019.
